Individual resumes and scores stay private to your own account, which you own regardless of any college partnership. Privacy and what falls to you
Can my placement cell see my individual resume or ATS score?
No. Colleges partnered with ReachRole receive cohort-level totals only — how many students registered, how many uploaded a resume, the average score, how many haven't started. Individual resumes and scores stay private to your own account, which you own.
I'm a faculty member or placement officer — is this the right page for me?
This page is written for students. The placement-cell page, with the cohort report and setup details for your college, is at /colleges.
What if my college doesn't offer ReachRole through a placement-cell partnership?
Everything on this site is still free to use individually — you don't need your college to have a partnership to create an account and use the tools. The partnership just adds a cohort-level report for the placement cell; it doesn't gate student access.
If I stop trusting the placement cell with my data, what happens?
You keep your account and every resume you've built, because the account was always yours, not the college's. You would simply stop appearing in the cohort report — nothing is deleted and nothing transfers to anyone else.
Should I rely on my placement cell for everything, or work in parallel?
Work in parallel — a placement cell is one channel among several, and even a very good one can't replace the individual work of building a strong resume, practising interviews, and applying beyond campus drives.
Does my placement cell know I'm using this site if my college has no partnership?
No — an individual account with no college partnership is entirely private, visible to nobody but you.
