Account Deletion
You can delete your account yourself at any time, from the app or the web. This page explains how, exactly what is removed, and the little that is kept.
Sign in at reachrole.app/app, open Profile, and scroll to the account section. Choose Delete account, pick a reason, enter your password, and type DELETE to confirm. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
If you would rather keep the account but stop using it, Deactivate sits beside it. A deactivated account keeps your data and is reactivated simply by signing in again.
Open Profile and choose Delete Account, then pick a reason and confirm. If you sign in with a password, enter it. If you sign in with Google, confirm through Google instead — we check it is the same account before anything is removed. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
Deleting an account is permanent and there is no recovery window, so we re-confirm who you are first. Being signed in is not on its own enough to destroy an account.
If you sign in with LinkedIn, or you no longer have access to the app or your password, email contact@reachrole.app from the address on your ReachRole account with the subject "Delete my account". No other detail is needed. We confirm every request within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.
Deleting your account removes your user record, and every table that references it is removed with it. In practice that is everything you created in ReachRole:
There is no recovery window and no backup restore. Once deleted, it is gone.
Three things outlive the account, none of which identify you from the ReachRole side:
A closure record. When an account closes we store the reason you chose, any feedback you wrote, your former plan, and counts of how many resumes and applications the account held. It carries the former numeric account id, not your name or email. We use it to understand why people leave.
Usage and AI cost logs. Rows recording that a feature was used, or what an AI request cost us, are kept with the user reference removed. They no longer point at any account.
Support and email records. If you emailed us or used the support form, that correspondence and our delivery log of messages sent to you are retained, because they contain the address they were sent to. Ask in your deletion email and we will remove these too.
Where a payment was made, Razorpay separately retains its own transaction records under Indian financial regulation. That is Razorpay's data, not ours, and deleting your ReachRole account does not affect it. See our Privacy Policy.
Uninstalling ReachRole from your phone removes the app and the session stored on that device. It does not touch your account or anything on our servers. Use one of the three routes above to actually delete the account.
